About Daily Corruption

Corruption in the Americas was conceived as a semi daily summary news feed covering corruption and anti-corruption events from all over the American continent. Researchers, practitioners, activists, and college students are encouraged to take advantage of this website to inform their own activities.

The countries covered have been selected based on their ratification of the two most important anti-corruption agreements in the region: The Inter-American Convention Against Corruption (IACAC) and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). Likewise, the newspapers surveyed are widely considered to be the most important of their respective countries, either in terms of sales or  coverage.
